South Valley Community Alliance (SVCA) does not trade, share, lease or sell donor information with any outside organizations or third parties. SVCA collects personal information that you choose to supply us. When you submit a donation online or via postal mail, or when you become a new member, your name and contact information, including mailing and email addresses and phone numbers, are stored in our database. SVCA uses this information to send you information about organizational activities.
When SVCA collects credit or debit card information online for the purpose of processing donations, memberships or sales, the information is collected and stored in a secure, PCI-compliant environment. Card numbers are encrypted for maximum security and are not visible to our staff. Credit card information sent directly to our offices for donations or sales is immediately destroyed after processing.
We do share your payment information with payment services providers such as Paypal to process payments, to prevent, detect and investigate fraudulent activities, to facilitate dispute resolution such as chargebacks or refunds, and for other purposes associated with the acceptance of credit or debit cards.
